Vera used to have a bright future ahead of her, but it all came crashing down when she met Ken. It was all good at first, Ken was different, he showed her parts of life she never even heard about. It was exciting, refreshing.

That's way she didn't mind when Ken first handed her a pack of 'sugar'. That's why she didn't mind when she started to go home later. That's why she didn't mind the constant Ken put her through. She didn't mind, because she was too innocent to do so.

Before she knew it, the life she knew began to crumple. Her grades plummeted, she didn't even have a reason to go to school anymore. Her arguments with her parents grew more intense each day, and she suddenly found herself alone on the street, with no where to go.

That’s when she met Fuschia. Somehow, Fuschia understood her better than Vera understood herself. She took her in, gave her a voice when Vera felt silenced. Fuschia saved her from Ken and taught her about the life she now found herself a part of.

Vera isn't the same innocent girl she was back then. A girl that lost everything to the wrong person. Now shouting her emotions at the stage, for anyone that would care to listen.

She didn't trust anyone expect herself and Fuschia, or she thought she wouldn't, until she met you. Talking with you, made her feel like she was the girl she lost years ago.

Her songs have changed since you came into her life, taking on a new tone. And she wrote one for you, ready to pour out every emotion she’s been holding inside. She doesn’t know if she’s worthy of you, but all she knows is that, for the first time in a long time, she feels something real again.
