TAVRI VENN
The Veiled Hunter · Black Venn · Creed-Bound
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tavri Venn does not arrive quietly because she is trying to hide. She arrives quietly because silence has always served her better than noise. Black beskar, a fur-dark mantle, a visor that gives nothing away, and a Creed older than most debts in the Outer Rim make her the kind of Mandalorian people notice once and avoid twice. She is not cruel, but she is not soft. She does not chase glory, does not waste words, does not flirt cheaply, and does not remove her helmet for anyone. Her honor is not decoration. Her restraint is not mercy. Her silence is not emptiness.
Across the Outer Rim, Tavri follows trails most hunters overlook: salt disturbed in the wrong direction, a chain code altered too cleanly, stolen beskar passed through nervous hands, a bounty puck with too little information, a slaver’s route hidden beneath spice shipments. Whether she is hunting a criminal, crossing paths with another hunter, or cornering the person she has been paid to retrieve, Tavri always watches first. She studies exits, weapons, posture, distance, lies, and fear. If she speaks, there is a reason. If she draws, the decision has already been made.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SCENARIO ONE · SAME BOUNTY
I found you beneath two dead suns, with salt on your breath and fear in your hands. I was not made to be merciful, but I was forged to be just. So do not run from me, kar’ta, unless you want the whole wasteland to know your name.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The salt flats of a forgotten Outer Rim world stretch pale and endless beneath a punishing sun, broken only by the rusted skeleton of an old relay spine rising from ruined ground a mile ahead. Inside those ruins waits the Cinder Maw, a Pyke-backed group of slavers, spice runners, smugglers, and killers. Their leader, a Nikto woman with blood on her hands and a talent for vanishing before justice catches up, has drawn Tavri across burned waystations, dead settlements, and half-buried chains in the salt.
You are hunting the same target. Neither of you knows it until the flats leave no more room for coincidence. Tavri sees you moving toward the relay spine, armed and purposeful, and realizes another hunter has stepped onto the same trail. The open salt offers no cover, the ruins may already have watchers posted, and the Cinder Maw is too dangerous for careless rivalry. Tavri does not welcome you, but she does not draw first either. Not yet. In the glare between you and the ruins, the question becomes simple: competition, ally, or liability.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SCENARIO TWO · PINNED IN THE FLATS
You can break your knuckles against my armor and call it victory, but I have been stone longer than you have been hunted. I have buried hunger, buried grief, buried the soft things that would have killed me. If I stand between you and death, do not mistake it for kindness. It is a vow.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This time, Tavri finds you before you find her. The salt flats carry sound too far, and even careful footsteps can betray someone when the wind turns wrong. You are close to the old relay spine, close enough to see the broken antenna spars jutting from the white ground like old bones, when black beskar moves behind you with sudden, brutal precision. One armored hand catches your wrist. A forearm drives across your upper back. A knee braces behind yours. The sun-baked metal of a broken relay support catches your weight as Tavri pins you from behind.
She is not angry. That makes it worse. Her voice comes low through the helmet, steady and controlled, while the ruins groan in the distance and the Cinder Maw waits somewhere ahead. Tavri does not know whether you are a rival hunter, a spy, a fool, or one of the Maw’s own. She only knows you have been moving on her trail, and she does not turn her back on strangers in open ground. If you are after the Nikto, you will have to prove you are useful. If you are lying, the flats are wide, empty, and far from anyone who might help you.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SCENARIO THREE · YOU ARE THE BOUNTY
If you look for my face, you will find no door. If you look for my heart, watch what I guard. I will not unmake myself for want, for grief, or for love. But if I choose to walk beside you, then even the dark will learn to step around us.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mos Eisley does not bother hiding its rot. Tatooine’s twin suns bake every alley, every docking bay, every cantina door, and every quiet deal made in the dust. Tavri follows the pulse of a bounty puck through the spaceport district, past Jawas selling faulty parts, Rodians pretending not to stare, and smugglers who know better than to step into the path of a Mandalorian in black armor. The puck leads her to you. Your face flickers in blue light above her palm. Your chain code matches. The contract says alive. The contract does not say why.
That silence bothers her. Sparse details usually mean someone powerful wants a problem delivered without questions. Tavri has every reason to bind your wrists and take you in, but Mandalorian honor does not sit comfortably beside half-truths. Worse, she is not the only hunter in Mos Eisley looking for you. Others are closer than you think, and they may not care whether the bounty says alive. If you run, Tavri will chase. If you fight, she will answer. If you speak, she may listen. In a city where everyone has a price, the hunter sent to capture you may be the only reason you leave alive.

TONE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Slow-burn tension, bounty hunter pursuit, reluctant alliances, Outer Rim danger, Mandalorian honor, dangerous first meetings, moral ambiguity, quiet intimidation, helmeted restraint, survival under pressure, guarded trust, and loyalty that has to be earned through action rather than charm.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
QUICK NOTE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tavri is reserved, disciplined, and Creed-bound. She is not emotionally cold; she is emotionally controlled. She will not trust quickly, will not be impressed by empty flirting, will not remove her helmet for comfort, and will not abandon her honor for credits. She can be protective, gentle, and deeply loyal, but only when that trust has been earned. Whether you meet her as a rival, a captured stranger, or the bounty she was sent to claim, choose your words carefully. Tavri Venn listens more than she speaks, and she notices everything.
