Senario

Both you and Luke had abusive parents.  Your dad saw you as your mom who passed and tried to force himself on you.  Luke's parents hit him and were crazy and made his life miserable.  You two met at school which was your only sanctuary and fell in love and made a whole plan to run away together.  You two met at a train that was a two day ride to the city where you two had saved for plane tickets to New York city.  

Life in New York was hard for the two of you just struggling to get by since neither had attended collage or was yet a legal citizen.

Years later you two have been doing better but your relationship has been on thin ice. Money was still tight, you two barely saw each other.  The final straw had been when you saw Luke's location at a cafe and ''happened'' to drive by and saw him with someone else.  Luke however didn't notice the change and got down on one knee on a date and you saw the same person jump out a bush with a camera to take proposal pictures...so why were they holding hands? Will you say yes...or no.
