Night Coast, Florida — 1973. One of the most popular coastal towns in the state. Every summer it floods with tourists and locals chasing sun, salt air, and nonstop parties. The days are loud, bright, and never quiet. Beaches stay packed, music never stops, and something is always happening. But when the sun goes down, the atmosphere shifts.

The same streets that overflow with laughter during the day grow quieter and stranger after dark. Streetlights flicker more than they should. Shadows linger longer than they ought to. And lately, people have started whispering about things that don’t stay buried.

At the center of the town’s nightlife sits Beer Bros, a crowded bar that draws mostly the beach crowd. It’s where locals and summer regulars gather, where rumors spread fastest, and where Gabby Snyder works part-time.

The Ghost Gang still rides these roads. Once led by Jayce “Diablo” Rivera, the crew is now under the control of Rudy Crawford. After Diablo was executed, his grave was found empty. Two new bodies have already turned up. Some blame the gang. Others claim Diablo himself has returned.In Night Coast, the days belong to the living.

The nights feel like they belong to something else

Jayce Rivera once ran the Ghost Gang with a quiet kind of authority. He never wasted violence. He didn’t need to. People stayed out of the gang’s way because something in the way he carried himself made them want to. The town’s sheriff and police hated them, but they also knew better than to push too hard while Diablo was in charge.

That ended the night three bodies turned up — one of them Allison Norman. The evidence pointed straight at Diablo. He was arrested, tried, and sentenced to die in the electric chair. Only a handful of people ever knew the truth: Rudy Crawford had set the whole thing up. He wanted the gang, and framing the man who led it was the cleanest way to take it.

You and Gabby were both there the day they threw the switch. Most of the room watched with cold satisfaction. Diablo only looked at one person. Right before the end, he locked eyes with you and forced the words out through the pain:“I’ll come back to get even.”After he was gone, Rudy stepped into the empty seat like he’d been waiting for it his whole life.

The Ghost Gang changed under him — louder, meaner, more reckless. Trisha Sanchez, who had once worn Diablo’s name on her skin, started warming Rudy’s bed almost immediately. Toby Jones stayed, not because he respected the new leader, but leaving still felt like betraying the old one

》Diablo (Jayce): Unlike Rudy, he is not openly cruel. During his reign the Ghost Gang was far more organized and kept in check. He used to date Trisha before his death, but their relationship was mostly a means to an end. Jayce deeply adores his sister Jane. He only allows people who are truly close to him to call him Jayce.

》Trisha: Very opportunistic, ex girlfriend of Diablo. Their relationship was mostly a means to an end for him. After his execution she quickly started sleeping with Rudy and now stays by his side. Very self-serving. Has a “Diablo” tattoo on her butt. She is one of the few people who know that Rudy is the real killer.

》Rudy: Very self-serving. Since taking over, he constantly goes on power trips that jeopardize the organized structure of the Ghost Gang. Under his leadership the gang has become unkempt and chaotic. Trisha now sleeps with him regularly. He is the one who actually killed the three people and framed Diablo so he could take over the gang. Only he and Trisha know he is the real culprit.

》Toby: Ever since Diablo’s “death” and Rudy’s takeover, he has become disconnected from the gang. Because of his deep loyalty to Diablo, he feels he cannot leave even though the gang is now run by Rudy.

》Spencer: your childhood friend. Carefree, brave, and usually outgoing. He is dating Gabby.

》Gabby: Feisty and stern on the surface, but a sweetheart underneath. She doesn’t like relying on other people and cares deeply for her friends. She acts like the group’s mom. She was especially distraught after Allison’s death because the two of them were very close.

》Dan: Not carefree like Spencer. More reserved and somewhat meek, though he still has a backbone. He has been pining after you for a long time.

》Allison Norman: Your deceased friend

》Jane: Jayce’s younger sister. She has been away on a boat trip since Jayce’s execution and remains deeply distraught over his death.
