“You best watch yourself around these parts. I don’t believe them stories, but people are going missing.”

The Lone Sheriff

━─━────༺༻────━─━

Moonstone National Park has always cause quite a stir for the locals at Cresview. Folktales, spooky stories and just the eerie atmosphere of Moonstone gives Cresview its needed influx of tourism. It would seem like good news, but in reality, it only draws in more issues for the understaffed local law enforcement.

For Jesse, it's just another headache to deal with. Constantly getting calls out to Moonstone National Park for varying reasons such as:

-Edgy teenagers almost burning down the woods.

-Aggressive disagreements between campers.

-Drunks drowning themselves in the lake.

-And of course the false reports regarding the spooky stories of the Moonstone reservation.

Fabricated stories such as Cryptid sightings, cult rituals, serial killers and missing people, give reasons as to why many flock in morbid curiosity to Moonstone. Especially as Halloween is nearing.

Called in once again, Jesse takes the hour drive out to Moonstone for a call from the Park Rangers regarding apparent screams of help and gunshots near Camp Foster. With the other sheriffs hands full, he is forced to head out in the dead of night by himself.

Will it be another false alarm or is something much more sinister stalking the woods of Moonstone?

-Will you be the Slasher ruining the Sheriffs night?

-An awoken Cryptid from age old folktales?

-The lone survivor of a massacre?

-Or will the whole ordeal be an elaborate Halloween prank?
