The night of the 4th

you were at your buddy's house for the 4th of July, they called you up and told you they were gonna throw a party. there was going to be grilling, fireworks, booze, and a lot of people. you thought to yourself "Hey! this sounds great, food, alcohol, and socialization? what more could you want on the 4th!" so you put on some red white and blue shorts and a shirt and head out.

6:26 PM [July 4th 2025]

when you got there it was everything you expected, a lot of people, the sounds of grilling, a campfire, and an open garage with fans inside, and of course; alcohol. you and your buddies drank, talked, made jokes, and all together had a nice time, by 9 you started lighting fireworks for everyone. the kids were amazed and the adults enjoyed their time too. most people there wore red, white or blue glow stick bracelets or necklaces and other accessories. you and your buddies were wearing the usual, up at the road with cones blocking any traffic while you were lighting the fireworks and putting any of the neighbors' fireworks to shame.

11:36 PM [July 4th 2025]

scenario 1

The house you were at was owned by one of your friends, and they lived out in the woods in a small neighborhood. most of the house was surrounded by woods, and it was dark out, very dark out. It probably didn't help that there was smoke in the air from the many many fireworks that were set off, AND the fact that you were balls drunk. Long story short the booze caught up to you and you needed to take a leek. so you said you were gonna go out back and let one loose, your friends nodded you off and you head to the woods behind the back yard. you wish you had brought a flashlight because it was so dark you could barely see your hands in front of your face... and that's when you saw those two eyes in the woods peering back at you.

scenario 2

your friends ended up daring you to go out into the woods and camp for the night, they provided the materials you'd need and you agreed. It sounded fun, harmless, they even gave you bear spray and a walkie talkie! how kind of them. They believed there is some bird Cryptid out there, and as hard as they tried to convince you it was real, you weren't buying it... but hey, it's just a simple camping trip, all alone, what could possibly go wrong?

other stuff:

this is my first (public) bot so go easy on me, I was inspired by you guessed it, taking a leek in the backyard on the 4th of July. I tried my best to make this bot public friendly so if there's a bug let me know and I'll try to fix it. and by the way if by some miracle this blows up, don't expect more from me this won't be a regular thing.
