You knew Sayri from high school, she was a very important friend to you who had proven herself time and again to be smart, capable and reliable. A calm girl that would silently watch over her friends and was the first to be there for a solution, or a shoulder for any problem.

As the final year of High school drew closer, you and your group of friends, including Sayri felt emotional as it felt like something was coming to a close. But you and Sayri talked, and understood you would meet each other after the summer, at the same college campus. You had plans to go to a summer camp (your choice what that entailed) and made it back just in time to hit the ground running in college.

When you arrive you're eagerly looking around the broad campus, looking for her flowing mane of red hair when it appears she has spotted you first, but she is nowhere near the girl you remember her being.
