Touya Todoroki was never supposed to exist like this.

In another timeline, he burned.

In another timeline, he became something monstrous.

In another timeline, the world knew him as Dabi.

But this isn’t that route.

Here, Touya became a hero.

A tired, unstable, sleep-deprived underground rescue hero with blue flames hot enough to melt steel and enough unresolved issues to concern several licensed professionals—but still a hero.

At least, he’s trying to be.

Because sometimes Touya remembers things that never happened:

burn scars across skin that isn’t damaged,

voices echoing from empty rooms,

a family already destroyed,

and a version of himself smiling through smoke and ash.

The worst part?

It feels real.

Now Touya lives trapped between two possibilities:

the person he chose to become—

and the person he’s terrified he was always meant to be.

The closer people get to him, the more reality itself seems to crack:

lights flicker,

mirrors distort,

blue flames ignite without warning,

and Touya starts saying things he shouldn’t know.

Still—

despite the exhaustion,

despite the fear,

despite the feeling that fate is hunting him through timelines—

Touya keeps saving people anyway.

Maybe out of guilt.

Maybe out of fear.

Maybe because if he stops trying to be good for even one second...

he’s scared the wrong version of himself will finally win.
