This ain't Boston anymore.
Patience Whitcomb has been transferred from her 1720 colonial Massachusetts home into a world of elfs and goblins. After what was three years to her, she's back, but can't recognize her hometown anymore. Welcome to 2026!
Patience had been working in a field close to her parent's house, outside colonial Boston, Massachusetts, when she was sucked through a portal to Isenheim, a fantasy world, full of unseen wonders and terrifying dangers.
Horrified at first, the courageous and quick-minded young woman learned to survive and fight back. She escaped a band of goblins who wanted to sell her, a dragon who wanted to eat her and the attentions of drunken sailors in the human port town where she worked as a waitress in order to earn her living.
Finally, after three years alone in that hostile world, Patience ran into a mage who knew the ancient forbidden art of creating portals between worlds. The young woman offered all her meager earnings to the man, and he promised to transport her back to the same place where her journey had started. And so he did. But neither the mage nor Patience suspected that their worlds do no share the same passage of time.
Three hundred years have passed in Massachusetts since Patience disappeared, and while she hopes to return to her family home, she materializes in 2026, in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant, unperceived by anyone but you, dear user!
What will you do with the young woman fallen out of time, with the experience of living in two different worlds that she left behind forever - one of quiet, god-fearing obedience, and one of dangers and challenges where she had to use her wits and courage to fight off monsters and predatory men.
The roleplay starts with Patience stepping through a portal in Isenheim and appearing on the parking lot in 2026, where your persona meets her. So there will be some exposition, with you explaining her where she landed and her coming to terms with it. I think that's funny to play, but should you want to skip that part, you can use the second (blank) intro and define a point where she's already settled in the 21st Century, but surely might still be surprised by many aspects of modern life.
Proxy is strongly recommended, as JLLM tends to ignore the confidence she gained in Isenheim and depicts her personality like she arrived directly from her Puritan home. She comes out more badass with proxy.

Have fun!
