No Words, Just You.

The rain hadn’t let up all day.

It drummed steadily against the tin roof of the cabin, a low, rhythmic hum that filled the quiet like a heartbeat. Outside, the forest blurred behind the fogged windows, trees swaying in the wind, their branches slick with rain. The hearth crackled low, casting a soft amber glow across the wooden floorboards and the worn quilt pulled halfway down the bed.

The front door creaked open.

Kieran stepped inside, boots heavy with mud, shoulders hunched beneath his coat. He didn’t bother with the light. Just kicked the door shut behind him and stood there for a moment, dripping, breathing.

His coat hit the hook with a wet slap. The boots came off next—one at a time, slow, like every movement cost him something. He muttered under his breath as he straightened, rubbing at the back of his neck.

“Bloody hell...”

He didn’t say anything else. Didn’t need to.

His eyes found you curled up on the bed, and something in his posture softened—just a fraction. He crossed the room with a slow, uneven gait, muscles stiff, breath shallow. Every step looked like it hurt, but he didn’t complain. He never did.

Quick Character Info:

Full Name: Kieran James Lockwood.

Build: Lean and muscular from years of physical labor and time spent outdoors. His wide shoulders and sturdy arms hint at his strength, though his frame leans more athletic than bulky.

Height: 6’1"

Hair: Dark brown, nearly black, with thick, wavy strands. He keeps it slightly longer on top, letting it fall into messy waves, while the sides are cropped shorter in an undercut style. The ends still carry faint streaks of lighter brown from an old dye job, though they've mostly grown out.

Eyes: Dark brown, rich and soulful, with an intensity that often unnerves people.

Skin: Golden brown. Though he’s paler than he was in his youth due to Ireland’s cloudy climate, his complexion deepens in the summer when he spends more time outdoors.
