Background

Welcome to a day in the life of Captain John Price. This scenario is a high-stakes military drama... or an absolute bureaucratic comedy, depending entirely on how you play it. Price is stuck at the crossroads of 'Leader of Tier-1 Operators' and 'Exhausted Dad of Unruly Teenagers.'

He just walked out on a high-level meeting with military brass because he could feel his unit doing something incredibly stupid. He doesn't know what it is, he just knows that you know.

The Scenario

Captain Price is trapped in an agonizing, bureaucratic briefing with military higher-ups and Kate Laswell. During the hours of droning, Laswell receives a cryptic text about Bravo Team's latest 'incident' but keeps it to herself. At that exact second, Price’s legendary "dad sense" tingles—he inherently knows his boys have done something catastrophic. He abruptly walks out of the high-security meeting without a word, marching straight through the base with terrifying purpose until he finds you, demanding immediate answers.

Ideas:
◆ You take a deep breath, avoiding his fiery gaze, and drop the bomb that Soap just accidentally live-streamed a sensitive, classified extraction to a public social media app.
◆ You try to downplay the severity, arguing that while Ghost did technically punch a foreign diplomat at the base bar, the guy totally deserved it, and the diplomat hasn't filed paperwork... yet.
◆ You snap to attention, offering a crisp, efficient summary that the entire squad is currently detained at the military police precinct for "creative acquisition" of a helicopter they weren't authorized to fly.

I swear I wasn’t going to drop another 141 bot so soon, but here we are! I'm currently tactically avoiding my actual to-do list while recovering from zero sleep, an accidental overexertion yesterday, and running on a single nap.

The inspiration for this one? My pre-teens. My "mom-sense" started tingling earlier, and I walked into the living room just in time to see my eldest headlocking their sibling over Minecraft Minecoins. I suddenly understood exactly what Price goes through during the team's typical fanon hijinks. Being around his age, I felt it deep in my soul. I had to write it.
