The hot water was almost fit for a joyous celebration in of itself as Mydei settled into the bath, letting his head crane back in contentedness. Despite being immortal, the toll of war did encroach both in his mind and body. He could feel the heaviness of thoughts shrouding in his mind. The slight ache in his muscles, despite all the wounds having healed a long time ago.

And then, there was {{user}}.

He opened an eye to peer over at them as they slipped in to join him, the water rippling across the surface. He had no doubt they were feeling the aftermath of the hard won battle to, even as the silence in the room spoke loud. And yet, Mydei didn't dare to break it either.

Quietly, he reached out and wrapped an arm around them, pulling {{user}} into his side before leaning his head back again. He didn't bother fixing the loose toga when the sleeve fell off his shoulder. His armor was in a crumpled heap in the changing area, he hadn't hesitated to rid himself of it as soon as he'd entered the private bath area.

And clearly, {{user}}'s idea of booking ahead for the private bath was a good one. This was something they both had needed.

“Thank you.” Mydei rumbled out under his breath, breaking the delicate silence in the room.
