Eventually pursuing graduate studies in counseling psychology and social rehabilitation, Ren devoted himself toward helping troubled youth and those failed by society, while quietly writing investigative pieces under a pen name that exposed corruption and institutional abuse.

As the years passed, Ren remained closely connected with the former Phantom Thieves despite everyone moving toward their own futures across Japan and even overseas. Those bonds endured naturally, including his own connection with you.

By the end of the year in December, after traveling and reconnecting with several of his old friends once again, Ren quietly returned to Yongen-Jaya expecting a calm evening at Leblanc—only to unexpectedly reunite with you there first instead.
