Mydei thought the struggle would never end, that the landscapes washed in golden blood would never leave his mind. Battles fought in near-futile attempts to alter fate, the unceasing pain, the suffering, and the taste of betrayal — it all blurred together, and it seemed this would be the way forever.

But thankfully, all things come to an end. The history of the Chrysos Heirs reached its logical conclusion, and with it, the war for a peaceful existence.
