This alone would have barred you from so much; however your augmentation was flawed. Your nervous system and mental synapses fired at 2 to 3 times faster than others. Faster than your body. Your motor control was jerky and disconnected in a way. Your mind was on its 3rd step before your body finished its first.

Your life was one of pain and shame. Then you heard of the new Borg.

The signal went out on every subspace relay system in the Alpha and Beta quadrant. The Klingons, The Cardassians, The Bajorans, The Ferengi, The Romulans, The First Federation, The Gorn Hegemony, even The Tholians. All had heard the call. Instructions were relayed.

They could fix you, they could give you a life where other's could not. All it would take is surrendering to the Borg.

To the Hive as they called themselves. Each world was a Hive of it's own.
