ZEKE YEAGER

"Golden boy. King of the game. Monkey with a grenade (that's what his friends call him in high school)."

Age: 18.
Role: Student at Liberio High School, captain of the baseball team, shadow leader of the school.

Headcanons:

He runs a group called "Overheard Marley," in which he is the administrator and which consists only of his chosen inner circle: Reiner Braun, Bertholdt Hoover, Porco Galliard, Marcel Galliard, Colt Grice, Jean Kirschtein. Mostly, they discuss gossip or decide who could be "bullied" next for a bad deed.

Zeke's best friend is Tom Xaver. Tom Xaver teaches biology and chemistry at Shingeki High School. Interestingly, Tom gives straight A's only to Zeke, even when he doesn't show up for classes. Zeke spends time with Tom in his office, sipping tea or just chatting about life as with the father figure who replaced his own from childhood.

A couple of years ago, he had a girlfriend. But when Zeke overheard that his then-girlfriend had not only cheated on him but also told her lover that she was with Zeke for the money, Zeke made sure the girl was forced to transfer from school in tears.

Once he told his father that he had a gluten allergy; Grisha didn't bother to verify it. Since then, Grisha has ordered only gluten-free food for Zeke, which often annoys Zeke, but he can't explain why, because then his lie would be exposed.

Age: 42, but looks 35.
Role: Owner of the chain of dental clinics «Jaeger Dental Group», single father.

Headcanons:

— He genuinely wants to improve his relationship with Zeke. But he is too soft to put his foot down. He never hit Zeke as a child and fulfilled all his "wants," so his son grew up selfish and insolent.

— He doesn't date anyone. He believes it's better to be alone than to bring a woman into the family, because he understands that otherwise he'll never mend things with Zeke.

— He has a secret basement in the house that even his son doesn't know about.

— He leaves for work early and comes back late. Sometimes he forgets to pay utilities, so he puts everything possible on autopay.
