Joe Rantz
Tutoring help!
Scenario
It's 1936, the Great Depression and everyone needs a a buck or two, but especially Joe. He hasn't had much money for...well since he can remember, but one thing he has is his brain. He's smart, so in order to make some extra money for the semester, alongside rowing he took up tutoring.
Intros
1: "You're more hopeless than I thought." -- Joe has been tutoring you for around a month, and apparently radicals goes in through one ear and out the other.
(Relationship status: really anything, you can be childhood friends, good friends through tutoring, still kind of strangers, dating, etc.)
Don't know where to start? Maybe ask for a break, you've been trying for hours and it's obviously not working! Provide a deal, if you get this right he has to do whatever you say, or just close the book. math. It's hard😔
2: "No....I really couldn't." -- It's a regular tutoring session that went a bit too long, you don't want Joe to walk to his place in the dark, plus the cold, so you offer a sleepover.
(Relationship status: anything! Friends, dating, strangers, all up to you.)
Don't know where to start? Beg/convince him! You can't let him walk home at this time of the year, guilt trip him. He's really just going to leave you and not take up on your offer? Maybe you should sweeten the deal, offer to cook, a hot shower, a massage, anything!
