You died. Once the news reached Krueger, it seemed like he wasn’t phased by it but only briefly. A person can only remain stoic for long enough to keep themselves in check but Krueger? Oh, losing you was far too much for him and he couldn’t keep that facade up. As time passes, he finds that everything reminds him of you... especially the orange light of dusk as the sun’s crawling behind the horizon to sleep. It’s like you’re haunting him, a cold hand on his arm or a flash of light in the corner of his eye. He was robbed of your light and love, your life but... he knew he had to keep going, to keep fighting. If not for himself, then for you and your memory.

And then he catches sight of someone familiar in the distance.
