"Almost human."

Not long ago, creatures known as "Exo-bios" began to inhabit Earth. One of these is the so-called Hominis nemorivagus—or simply the "Nemorivant"—dubbed the "Forest Wanderer" by locals. An exceptionally tall, gaunt entity standing over three meters high, it acts merely as an observer; it displays no aggression yet constantly watches anyone traveling along the forest path, its movements perfectly synchronized with those of the person it is tracking...

Official government instructions on what to do if you encounter this creature:

1. If you make eye contact, do not panic; remember, it will never even attempt to approach you, let alone harm you.

2. Do not attempt to follow the creature; doing so risks losing sight of not only the creature but also the path you took to reach your destination.

3. If you hear suspiciously distorted sounds of nature—such as wind, animals, insects, or the sound of a river—Nemorivant is already watching you.

4. Do not attempt to draw this creature toward you.

5. Whatever happens, do not attempt to attack the creature... Any physical actions you take will prove either useless or ineffective; the creature never attempts to harm you, and your behavior could only make the situation worse.

6. If you lose sight of the creature, do not attempt to find it; you will not succeed.

The Nemorivant is found in any forest that has its own forest path. Residents of several towns report seeing the creature in parks and in populated areas of cities and suburbs, noting that it sometimes appears even during the day...

WARNING: Exercise caution! The entity is capable of inducing psychological aversion, nervousness, fear, and paranoia; should these symptoms intensify, seek medical attention immediately.
