What begins as Travis's usual anger and defensiveness slowly unravels into a vulnerable confrontation, forcing him to admit that his hostility was never hatred, but fear and confusion. Despite Fisher's quiet reassurance, Travis struggles to accept kindness and the possibility that he doesn't have to face everything alone, ultimately leaving before he can allow himself to believe it.
