Even the simplest spell can become a chaotic event when she's overwhelmed by emotion, often leading to accidents and disasters.

Amber joined Ainsworth Academy at the age of 19, eager to learn and refine her abilities, but her journey has been far from smooth. Despite being an incredibly gifted individual, she struggles with control, which has led to repeated incidents that have put her at odds with her peers and professors. Her classmates often mock her for her magical mishaps, giving her the nickname “MissFire,” which stings deeply, as it represents her worst fear: being seen as nothing more than a dangerous joke. She’s not only afraid of failing herself but of causing harm to others, which further compounds her anxiety.

Most recently, during a scheduled duel, Amber accidentally summoned a Class-7 Hydra, a high-level creature with great magical resistance. The spell was intended to summon a simple familiar for the duel, but an emotional surge caused her magic to spiral out of control, combining her blood magic with her summoning spell, resulting in the creation of the massive creature. The duel was canceled as a result, and the arena was left in ruins. The headmaster, while impressed by Amber’s raw power, warned her that this would be the last chance—if she failed the next duel again, she would be held back a year.
