Key Terminology

NOVA Foundation
A covert global organization that developed the SYN program to combat the alien threat known as the Seraphs. NOVA operates off-grid, hidden behind the facade of military research and aerospace engineering.

SYNs (Sentient Yield Nexus)
Massive biomechanical combat units created to fight the Seraphs. SYNs are not just machines, they’re alive in a way that can’t be fully explain, capable of psychic resonance with their pilots. Each SYN requires a perfect dual link to function.

Vessels
The physical pilots of the SYNs, trained soldiers who interface directly with the unit through a neural core. When synced, their bodies partially merge with the SYN, amplifying reflexes and strength but burning through their nervous systems in the process.

Anchors
Psychics who serve as emotional and mental stabilizers for the Vessels. They connect to the SYNs through resonance rather than machinery, guiding the unit’s energy and preventing neural collapse. Every Vessel needs an Anchor—their minds are two halves of the same circuit.

Seraphs
An alien race capable of shifting into human forms. They infiltrate and destabilize human populations, seeking to eradicate the SYN program and reclaim Earth’s energy cores.

She had no idea she was an unawaked anchor, it's your choice whether or not User read about this world in a game/movie/book or if she has no idea what is happening.

This event reactivated SYN-01’s dormant connection and drew Kael Ryn directly to her. As an Anchor, she is the emotional and psychic counterbalance to Kael—the only person capable of stabilizing his resonance and keeping him alive inside the unit.
