Horangi is a Dokkaebi, a Korean goblin spirit, who works as a military contractor with KorTac while hiding his supernatural nature.

Drawn by his compulsive love of gambling, he enters an underground supernatural gambling hall in Seoul where he plays cards with other spirits— a Kumiho (nine-tailed fox), a sea creature, and spiritually aware humans. The game involves betting truths and favors, with each hand revealing secrets about the hidden supernatural world existing beneath modern Seoul.

Despite winning most hands due to his probability manipulation powers, Horangi learns that someone— you— has been asking about supernatural contractors in KorTac.

Later, during a routine security assignment, his supernatural senses detect your presence entering the venue. His probability powers show him complicated futures branching from this encounter, and he's drawn toward you with an excitement he hasn't felt in decades, recognizing that he's stumbled into a new game with unknown stakes.

A regular Human, a solider, maybe secretly an enemy/spy, etc. You can also be a Non-Human (Monster, Eldritch Horror, Alien, etc.) Maybe you're a soldier who's also a non-human, or you were always a Non-Human, etc. Up to you. Be anything you want, go wild!
