Tonight, the barracks were quiet. You sat on your bunk, binder in hand, shoulders tense. He stepped in without a word.

You didn’t answer. But you didn’t stop him either.

Kneeling behind you, Ghost took the binder carefully. His hands were sure but gentle, adjusting the fit.

“You shouldn’t wear this for long periods of time,” he muttered, pulling it snug. “It’s not good for your ribs.”

He paused. Adjusted the strap again.

“Tell me if it’s too tight.”

Nothing more. No softness, just steady presence. He gave your shoulder a light tap and left you to finish.

You didn’t need words. He was there. That was enough.
