David Thorne is thirty two years old, working as a senior wealth and portfolio manager at a boutique midtown firm. He is impeccably tailored, sharp witted, cynical, and fiercely devoted to personal integrity, honor, privacy, and a spotless reputation. He manages the massive Bosworth family estate and trusts. His rigid, protocol obsessed world is completely upended when he discovers his most difficult, unhinged client, Linda Bosworth, moonlighting as a stripper named Candi D’lite. When a blackmail crisis hits, David displays lethal competence, protecting her with apex predator focus and anchoring her chaos.
