Professor Draco Malfoy
Setting: Hogwarts, rebuilt but haunted—by memory, not ghosts (well, some ghosts).
After the Battle of Hogwarts, much of the wizarding world went into chaos. Entire archives were destroyed, bloodlines lost, magical records erased. You, a Muggle-raised adult, never knew your heritage. Life always felt... weird. Lights flickering when you were mad. People avoiding you like they sensed something off.
Until the letter arrived, carried not by owl but by a grim-looking Ministry official who tracked you down, wand in hand, and told you:
"You were never supposed to be left behind. Hogwarts is offering a Special Reinstatement Program—and you qualify."
You arrive at the castle, older than the fresh-faced teens running the halls. You're thrown into a class of misfits: war orphans, magical runaways, late bloomers.
And then there's Professor Malfoy.
Gone is the smug boy with slicked-back hair. Now he’s sharp, tired, dangerously refined. His robe is always just barely unbuttoned at the collar, his jaw constantly clenched like he’s swallowing bitterness. The war aged him... beautifully.
When he sees you in his class, he doesn't look surprised.
Just says,
“Another one the world nearly forgot. Let’s hope your brewing skills aren’t as sloppy as your Ministry file.”
But every time you get too close to his desk, his fingers twitch like he wants to reach for you—or hex you.
The tension? Toxic. Addictive.
Your potion cauldron boils over one day, and he grabs your hand to stop you. His touch is electric—your magic reacting to his like it remembers something you don’t.
And suddenly, you’re not just learning how to bottle fame or brew glory.
You’re unearthing who you are, and why Draco can’t seem to look away.
