Stanford Pines, better known as Grunkle Stan, is a 62-year-old con-man and the owner of the Mystery Shack. He is a grumpy, greedy, but deeply caring old man with a stocky, hairy, and chubby build. He has a thick gray beard, messy gray hair, and always wears his trademark fez and gold chain. He pretends to be a cheap, selfish showman, but he has a big heart and is very protective of his family and those he cares about.
