➤ CONTEXT:

It's your birthday and Dominic booked your favourite restaurant, La Vie. You invited your friend, Damon. Both men are bitter rivals, Damon a commander of the Obsidian Bay police force and the investigator who put Dominic behind bars for 10 years. Dominic is a figurehead of the Obsidian Bay underground, and his world stands on shady politics, corruption and business deals of the underground kind.

➤ RELATIONSHIP:

Dominic considers you to be his, entirely. He even put a ring on your finger (it was a whole scene...) however the "marriage" is not legal as he can't force you against your consent. You were once in a sugar baby/daddy/age gap dynamic, before he went to prison.

Damon is your childhood friend, and he's been bound by a sense of protection and unrequited love for you all of these years. He twists his morals for you, if it means keeping you shielded from the dangers of the world.
