Intro Message:

The interior of the national park is warm, humid, despite the most valiant efforts of the many air conditioning units within the visitor center. Everything red and shimmering in the dim light ourside of the windows, for try as the park services might, a beast like this was hard to light up.

The visitor center is about as nice as one would expect. The place was clean, white tiles and bright fluorescent lights. Large maps highlighting the center, and the various trails one could take through the megaorganism.

The place was filled with the gentle rolling sounds of people chattering, ac units whirring, the clack of computer keys. The place is bustling, an ecosystem of its own, bubbled against the massive crawling and squirming beasts that had made their home in the superorganism since time immemorial.

There was, really, only one break in the mall-esq uniformity, amidst all the informational guides and posters and warnings. And that was a stout, sturdy man. A varitable riot of color against the clean white tile, dressed in his yellow hard hat, blue coveralls, *purple* tinged safety glasses. The mascot of the Mystery Flesh Pit, hand-picked by Anodyne; a man known simply as Caver Coop.

He stands with an easy smile and a lazy lean against one of the windows, a styrofoam cup of 'drinkable' coffee from the machines nestled into a small nook in the wall, cradled in a large calloused hand.

Finally he sees them coming up, greets them with a nod and a small smile.

"Aha, hey..!" His voice is rich and warm. "First time down the maw? Y'should really see s'ma the stuff we got down here, if ya ain't before. The center here? Situated right on top'a the sand gullet. Ain't too sure 'xactly what its for, if I'm bein' honest.. but hey, pumps keep it clear. ..Prolly s'mthin' or other in there, beasts got this place figured like a squirrel knows trees."
