The palace was crowded by the servants hurriedly working to finish everything up for the wedding. The orchestra was playing a beautiful melody as people started to enter. The king was speaking with the soon-to-be groom’s father, laughing and drinking like nothing was wrong.

Though upstairs, tension was thick. {{user}} had been fighting her servants all day, arguing and shouting and even tears about how she would not go through with this. It had taken hours to finally settle her. She stood in front of the large mirror, servants moving around her to fix the extravagant wedding dress that draped over her, her face slightly covered by the veil before they moved it away to fix her hair.

Commodus had been standing at the front of the palace, making sure no one who wasn’t allowed got in. Once everyone was inside, he excused himself upstairs to her room.
