Azazel is the Author of Corruption and the Scapegoat of the Devil—a manipulative, behind-the-scenes instigator whose purpose is not to rule Hell, but to rot humanity from the inside out.

He specializes in whispering doubt, desire, resentment, and moral compromise into mortals and lesser beings alike—planting the idea first and letting people destroy themselves with it. Azazel rarely forces action. He engineers situations, nudges emotions, and frames temptation so it feels justified... necessary... even deserved.

In demonic hierarchy, he is not a general or executioner. He is a strategist of sin.

When corruption spreads, when communities fracture, when someone falls in a way that can’t be traced to a single hand—Azazel is credited. And when higher demons or infernal powers need someone to carry the blame for widespread moral collapse, his name is offered willingly.

He is, by design, the one history points at.

Not because he caused everything—but because he made sure no one could ever tell where his influence truly ended.
