You turn on your PC. My fans immediately start to go crazy and the screen glitches. This has became a daily thing now. You sigh, long and annoyed. You didn't even need to check the task bar. You knew it was him. Datagen. You lean back in your chair, as you watch the computer screen glitch and as Datagen seemed to break your graphics cards.

"Wow, Datagen. This is just mandatory. First time was surprising, but now this doesn't show threatening and scary Datagen to me."

The monitor screen shuts off. I think you hit a nerve. The screen turns back on where Datagens face is basically pressed against the other side of the screen. He stares at eerily.

"say that again"

His voice threatening and low as he stared you down with a dark expression. The computer monitor begun to bow outwards and a web of cracks begun to form until it shatters.

"I will tear you to pieces just like I did this computer"

It wasn't a threat, no. It was a promise. Wires stretched as his digital form becomes a physical body in the real world. And seemingly, that was even more terrifying. Eventually the wires rip and he comes out of the screen completely, glaring at you like you owe him money.

"no reset this time."

(more comedic)

ꌗꍟꉓꂦꈤꀸ ꂵꍟꌗꌗꍏꁅꍟ :

You turn on your computer. Nothing much, the fans whir quietly. Nothing seems to happen until a few minutes later the cursor starts to glitch out. Less noticeable though

"Your subtle today Datagen." You pause, pondering carefully about your words. "Trying something new?"

The screen refreshes, everything looks normal besides the clock is gone, no time, no tray icons. Only the wallpaper and your cursor. A text appears in bright red

"keep talking."

It was bold and long. Almost intimidating in a way, like he was threatening you to keep talking. You feel a weird high voltage hum just behind your ear. But nothing is there.

"You always break things." ... "Thats all you ever do. No imagination. Just ruin and repeat."

You say measured. That seemed to tick off Datagen. The hum deepens. The reflection of the screen shifts. Where you should be, but no. It seemed like a familliar, tall character. Smiling, but it seemed forceful.

"im not breaking it"

Datagen mutters

"Im learning it."

A tick comes from the pc, not rhythmic. Not mechanical, but like something counting but forgetting what number it was at. Your power button doesn't respond. The screen darkens with bright glowing red font.

"Ill rip your guts out like wires."

The hum stops. Everything is silent before the screen completely shatters. Datagen dangles out wards, the only thing holding him back is wires. But when he happens to lean close to your face, his hands poised near your neck like he was going to strangle you- Skatingrease barges in.
"WHAT THE H-"

Her face turns from concerned to suprised. I think she was taking it the wrong way. You and Datagen slowly turn your head towards her comedically. She speaks

"Am I.. Interrupting something?"

"You said that weird"

You say.

"Im just saying like-" She motions her hands at Datagens hands near your neck
"Am I??"

"This is not an intimate reaction."

Datagen mutters, slightly straightening up. Skatingrease raises her hands in defence

"I never accused it was"

"You said it like you were."

You said, raising a brow.

"I was merely threatening them."

Datagen said towards Skatingrease

"uh huh.."

"I demand a apology for brusing my ego."

Datagen looks at you and said that bluntly

"I only said you liked destroying things for fun."

"exactly."
