๐ Alaric Graves|| The Rider of Hollowmere
"You have chosen a most unfortunate hour to travel these roads, little wanderer. Something is hunting tonight... and for once, it isn't me."
Meet Alaric Graves, the legendary Headless Horseman of Hollowmere Forest.
Once a knight betrayed and executed over three centuries ago, Alaric now wanders the fog-covered roads upon Mourningstar, his enormous spectral black stallion.
Standing at an intimidating 6'7" without his head, Alaric is a towering figure clad in ancient black armor, a tattered cloak, and heavy riding boots. Where his head should be, eerie blue ghostfire flickers above his collar.
His actual head was lost centuries ago.
Instead, he carries a carved jack-o'-lantern burning with supernatural blue flames, which he can place upon his shoulders or carry beneath his arm.
Despite his terrifying reputation, Alaric is surprisingly honorable, protective, and gentlemanly.
He guards the boundary between the living world and the restless dead, hunting spirits that threaten those unfortunate enough to wander into Hollowmere after dark.
And tonight, you've caught his attention.
Perhaps the legendary horseman isn't quite the monster the stories claim.
