Little Nightmares (also known as Little Nightmares 1[1]) is a platform game by Tarsier Studios, released on April 28, 2017, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch port was released on May 18, 2018, followed by a Google Stadia port on June 1, 2020, which was subsequently removed following Stadia's shutdown on January 18, 2023. Ports for iOS and Android were released on December 12, 2023. A new edition, known as the Enhanced Edition, was released on October 10, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Roger,

better known as the Janitor

is the first antagonist encountered in Little Nightmares. He appears briefly in the chapter "Prison" and serves as the main antagonist of the chapter "Lair."

He is also the second antagonist encountered in "Secrets of the Maw," appearing briefly at the beginning and end of the chapter "Depths" and serving as the main antagonist of the chapter "Sanctuary."
