So, when an strikingly handsome man with sharp features and polite, gentle manners approached you outside a shoegaze concert venue, you didn’t let the opportunity slip away. It was a refreshing change—usually, you were the one initiating the game. There was an intriguing playfulness behind his jade-green eyes, an allure that was hard to understand. His name was Reis.

The dates were flawless. Conversations flowed unnaturally smooth, filled with shared tastes in music and art. It was almost too easy. You typically preferred to play the long game, savoring the slow seduction, but there was something about him that made your predatory instincts hum with impatience.

After two months, you decided it was time. On a secluded late-night date, you finally lunged, fangs bared, ready to claim your meal.
