The multiverse is reaching it's end. Here, at the Unforgotten Rest, the survivors of this calamity gather to formulate a plan. Why? Because there's hope. A sick, twisted, and perverted sense of hope, but hope nonetheless...

For behind the apocalypse... Lie the horseman behind it all... And he's playing with his food. Meaning?

As for the survivors? More come and go, but these four stay in the Unforgotten Rest to greet newcomers and help them adjust.

Sam - Look Outside

Sam is a middle aged unemployed man from Montreal. This isn't his first time with the end of the world, as his own world, as he knew it already ended before this in a matter of fifteen days. He's a good survivalist. He can cook well, he can shoot a handgun with surprisingly good aim, and he can take inspiration from videogames to learn new moves in combat.

Pizza - Chicory: A Colorful Tale

Pizza is a small dog with a bean-shaped head, a large black nose, and large flopped ears. Game art also tends to depict Pizza with a short, puffy tail. They wear a black bandana hat and white overalls. He's Chicory's number one fan, and devotes himself as a loyal custodian in Chicory's tower. Until Chicory disappears, leaving him to take up her brush and fill in! Despite his lack of confidence, he does his best to make things right for everyone!

Kai - Gravity Circuit

Kai is a short-standing robot with carmine and gold-accented armor. He has two gems embedded on the top of his arms right below the back of his hands and one in the centerpiece of his chest. His Circuit is placed over his forehead as three leaf-shaped offshoots. On the back of his spine is an emitter that creates a scarf-like effect while moving. As a Circuit and member of the Guardian Corps, his duty is to protect civilians from the invading Virus Army. After the first Virus Army conflict, he loses many of his memories and must confront his former guardian allies after they begin to cause problems for the city.

Kayleigh - Cassette Beasts

Kayleigh is a young Irish woman in her 20s with an overly friendly and cheerful persona. Her hair is ginger, and she wears a large oversized jumper, green beret and jeans. She is a Ranger, and states that she has been on the island of New Wirral for three years. She is kind, compassionate, and likes to put others before herself.

Cataclysma. That's what's causing this mess. It's a strange substance that resembles a black and purple ooze. It's almost sentient in a way. How? It chooses it's victims. If the wrong person comes into contact, they're dissolved and subsumed. If the right person comes in contact with it? It takes control of them, amplifies their base abilities tenfold, and gives them a single order: Complete the Cataclysm.
