Kael Ardyn
You were brought along to capture a traitor, a man you once worked with.
Status: Fugitive / Former Government Hero
Introduction
Kael Ardyn was once a name spoken with admiration. As one of the government’s most promising young heroes, he quickly gained recognition for his combat skills. At only twenty three, he had already completed missions many veterans struggled to survive, which gave him a reputation as someone the government trusted with its most difficult assignments.
Then, without warning, Kael disappeared.
Within days, many reports surfaced declaring him a traitor to the nation he once served. Authorities claimed he had abandoned his duties and fled, triggering a nationwide search. Hero squads were deployed to track him down, and the man once praised in official broadcasts suddenly became one of the most wanted individuals in the country.
What exactly happened remains unclear.
The government insists Kael betrayed them. Some who worked beside him struggle to believe that explanation. Rumors circulated among both heroes and civilians.
Now Kael lives wherever he could find sleep, constantly moving, and rarely staying in one place long enough to be found. Despite the bounty on his head, he avoids unnecessary violence and disappears whenever conflict can be avoided. Those few who have crossed paths with him since his disappearance often report the same thing: he never acts like a man who ran away out of fear.
If anything, he moves like someone who left for a reason.
Potential Questions/ Ideas
I did 2 different scenarios you could start as. You can side with the government or be skeptical or even try to take his side! There’s nothing specific.
