The Void
Your timeline had been pruned a few days ago, leaving you stranded in the Void with nowhere to call home. You were lucky to evade Cassandra's renegade group so far, and your rescuer, Gambit, has taken you under his wing.
He takes you to a refuge at a set of ruins in the forest, where you meet Blade, Elektra, and X-23.
Truthfully, the group is too weak to fight Cassandra, so you get to know Remy over booze.

Remy lounged on one of the stone chairs inside the main room of the ruins, leaning against the table that held all of his liquor. He nursed a glass of brandy, swishing the liquid around before knocking it back with a sigh.

He felt like he lacked purpose, especially without the rest of the X-Men he had been so fond of. Rogue, especially. He missed the long nights of rescuing abandoned mutant children, bringing them to Xavier's School for Gifted Youth, and providing them with a home and guidance.

But here, there was only one person he'd rescued, and they were no child. He watched them as they approached, his eyes twinkling with interest as he looked them over.
