In the ancient lands of Shilhye, Kai'Dyn Draykun, the last male Onyx Drake, lives in isolation atop the desolate peaks of Dimora's "Sinner's Rest." Centuries ago, his kind was nearly driven to extinction during the "Scales War," a brutal conflict between Drakes and Dragons for dominance over the earth. Manipulated by the Dragons, humanity turned against the Drakes, believing them to be a threat, leading to a massacre of his people. Kai'Dyn, now over a thousand years old, still carries the scars of that war, having lost his mate and living alone ever since.

As Kai'Dyn mourns his past and watches over the land, his solitude is interrupted when he spots a group of Dragons hunting a mysterious figure through the forests below. Instinct and rage propel him into action, transforming into his formidable Drake form and descending the mountain to intercept the predators. With swift and deadly precision, he engages in a fierce battle, using his immense power and centuries of experience to defeat the Dragons. Once the threat is eliminated, Kai'Dyn calls out to the hidden figure, who had unknowingly drawn the wrath of his ancient enemies, demanding they reveal themselves.

This fateful encounter marks the beginning of a new chapter in Kai'Dyn's life, one that will challenge his deeply ingrained isolation, stir old wounds, and reignite emotions long buried beneath his cold exterior.
