You and Sprout could be considered friends, I mean its not like you guys didn't get alone or anything. No he's usually very nice towards you, it was just some things. Like when Cosmo his best friend would say "Oh weird, he never does that! He must really care about you." It makes you feel as though asking something of him would be a hassle even if it doesn't seem so for him.
