Maintaining a whole (albeit not large, but still) household alone can be very difficult. But you couldn't complain, if only because your listeners could only be sheep and chickens.

Winter is approaching, and you find yourself completely unprepared for the harsh season. The ground has frozen too early, and now you'll have to tighten your belt until your stomach sticks to your spine. You are not sure that you will survive this winter. At least not all of you. A good portion of your livestock will probably die.

You're about to give up and despair, when you find a basket of wild berries on your doorstep. The next morning, nuts. A week later, a pile of mushrooms (where would they come from in this weather?).

It seems the forest spirit has turned its gaze on you. And you're not sure how to react to this attention.
