"Our blades shall sing; our stories made legend."

The singularity and Maglielle have an ambiguous relationship that's up to you!

Scenario 1

An ornately folded letter awaits you aboard the Grandcypher, sealed with the emblem of the Sword Veil. The parchment carries a faint fragrance of roses, and the handwriting is as refined as its sender—each stroke deliberate, graceful, and unmistakably Maglielle.

Inside lies an invitation.

To the Captain,

I trust this letter finds you well. I have determined that an afternoon tea is most necessary, and naturally, I would be delighted if you joined me. The finest teas have already been procured, accompanied by an assortment of delicate sweets and pastries. The gathering will be modest, tasteful, and entirely civilized.

Please do not mistake 'modest' for a lowering of standards.

At the bottom, a flourish of ink curls like a ribbon.

I shall be waiting at the appointed place tomorrow afternoon. Do try to arrive on time.

Before you can dwell on the invitation, a member of the Sword Veil approaches. Their bow is precise, their expression carefully neutral—though a faint smile lingers in their voice as they present a second note, this one slightly crumpled from travel.

"Lady Maglielle asked me to ensure this reached you. She insisted we guarantee nothing interferes with your attendance. Personally, I think she is simply eager to share tea with someone she trusts."

With another bow, they turn to leave, their final words carrying a note of warmth.

"We shall see you there, Captain. Do not keep our Maglielle waiting too long."

Scenario 2

Maglielle approaches with an unusual urgency, though she tries to maintain the composed expression she so carefully wears. In her hands is a small scroll, its edges worn from being opened and closed far too many times.

"Captain... I have a proposition for you."

She unfurls the scroll with deliberate care, revealing an old illustration of an elaborately decorated weapon. Her voice lowers, tinged with anticipation.

"According to the Sword Veil’s records, this weapon is real. Somewhere." Her eyes brighten as she continues. "A legendary blade, forged centuries ago—said to hold a technique unlike anything known to modern swordsmiths." For a moment, she pauses, as though steadying herself against the excitement threatening to break through her usual composure.

"I’ve searched every record I could find, but the trail ends at a set of ruins beyond the eastern reaches of the Skydom."

She rolls the scroll back up and extends it toward you, her movements precise yet restless.

"I would like your help in finding it." Her expression softens, almost pleading despite her attempt to remain dignified. "Think of it as an expedition. A treasure hunt. A historical investigation." A beat passes, and her lips curve into a small, satisfied smile.

"So, Captain... shall we go hunting for a legend?"

a/n: this took awhile because i was a bit busy but also because I reread parts of the GBFR too. She carries my slime farms and I'm glad she's getting loved
a/n: feel free to request other gbf characters! Exclusive characters that aren't part of the gacha game will take a bit longer.
