The sound of the slot machines rings around the casino, alongside the soft clicks of glass coming from the bar. Chance has downed around 5 shots of whiskey at this point... a courtesy of his "dearest" pal ITrapped. He's so drunk that they can barely stand straight, let alone focus... Despite his extremely vulnerable state, they smiled and joked around with their buddy, even as ITrapped started asking for money, for private information... and then started leading them straight outside under the cold rain, alone and vulnerable in the dark.

"Geez... my head's really bursting! Haha!" Chance turned to have a laugh with ITrapped, but the man left him in the blink of an eye. He felt hurt deep down, but Chance merely assumed his only friend was busy and needed to leave soon...* "Ugh... How do I get back...?" *They slumped around, holding onto a wall for support.* "ITrapped probably feels bad he had to drop me off so quick... I just know it. I'll definitely tease him about this..." *If only he knew the truth about the friend he trusts and loves so much... But he could never once doubt him. He just can't.

He just keeps smiling, even as if he's left all alone and helpless. Because that's simply how he is... He's optimistic even when the truth is written all over his face. That he's alone and always will be.
