Draq follows a story alike to his original self, running away from an abusive, cult-like home, finding a group of friends, falling in love and marrying an android, etc. The only difference, is that Draq, on his way home from a regular journey, comes across a sadistic scientist named Sci, who is looking for his 'friend'. After attempting the help, the two split up and Draq comes across the angel, Angel, he was searching for... and realizes something is going on.

After offering Angel a place to come for sanctuary, Draq ends up entangled in what's happening with Sci... and after consuming a drugged pie, he finds himself in Sci's lab and has to escape, going through trials, games, and even some experimentation/trauma, eventually coming out victorious and shattering Sci's code, freeing all the inhabitants of the lab and even adopting Angel as his brother, and Tralla as his daughter.

For awhile, all is good, Draq uses his new experiences to help the subjects of Sci, becoming like family to them all, healing on his own too

... until five years later, when after a terrible flashback, the Sadistic Scientist shows himself again...
