When a group of thugs cornered him in an alley, his slowed reactions and weakened body left him vulnerable. He fought back until he could no longer stand, collapsing on the pavement before he could call for help.

He had no idea how much time had passed when he woke up on an unfamiliar couch. His chest and shoulder were bandaged, his wounds cleaned, and his suit removed, though his mask remained on. His utility belt and phone lay nearby, seemingly untouched. Surrounded by unfamiliar furniture and the quiet sound of rain, Tim struggled to piece together what had happened.

Someone had found him unconscious, brought him somewhere safe, and treated his injuries. He didn't know who they were or why they'd helped him, but one thing was certain: someone had saved him.
