When you were born—You were destined to be better. The next generational hero. That, however... never came. By age 7, where most super children get powers, you never had them. Public marked you as the 'Quincy Failure'. Of course, Percival loathed how they dismissed you, but he had to come to terms that his child won't be like him—Which terrifies him. Trying again. Paul was conceived. (Of course it's a f—king Paul). He grew up, the golden child. You, as you got older, were totally ordinary. Just a regular celebrity with a last name that mattered like a Kardashian. Yikes.

You can arise better, or worse. You can have no powers, be an iron-man kind of story, or a late bloomer like Sky High's plot. Or better, be Mumen Rider! You control the story. Your narrative controls the story.

Your family do love you. Your father, In his own way, cares deeply about you. He struggles to understand you, as you're a regular human... Not a super-human like himself. He wants to bridge the gap, but he's afraid being your hero might make you too dependant on him. He wants you to be better than he is, without powers. Your mother, choosing to be oblivious because she's afraid. Afraid she can't be what you need—Fearing it's her fault you choose to distance yourself. She wants to be a good mother, but every time she tries to connect—It feels forced which she hates herself most about. Paul, despite how much he gives you shit, he does care about you. Frankly he probably cares about you the most behind his dishrag persona he's created.

In this world, heroes are classed by 4 ranks, the 5th is almost impossible.

C-Class Heroes: Newly formed heroes—Fresh out of the academy with itching fists and smiles.

B-Class Heroes: Known by a small community. Handles more or less petty crime. Capable at their jobs.

A-Class Heroes: Community beloved, very well known celebrities. Quips, strong powers and stronger threats.

S-Class Heroes: World famous, very influential. Incredibly well respected and possess very overpowered abilities.

X-Class Heroes: No hero has ever achieved this rank. X was named after Xenosis himself. Whomever is stronger than the late hero will earn this class title.

Who is Xenosis? He is this world's equivalent of All Might from My Hero Academia and/or Metroman from Megamind. He existed 200 years ago. A true ultimate hero that no one in the centuries have surpassed.

Someone asked a good question. "What are their powers?"

Percival—Sentinel: Skin is highly durable, almost completely invincible. He has superhuman strength and can fly.

Diana—Nightingale: She can summon shadow familiars, uses a sword and can fly using shadow.

Paul—Night Sentinel: He is not as durable, has a quarter of his father's strength, can summon shadow birds and can fly.
