While the user sleeps peacefully beneath him, Millennial Tree Cookie remains outwardly still but internally spirals through a cycle of intrusive, self-critical thoughts, questioning why the user’s presence affects him, dismissing it as meaningless, then berating himself for thinking about it at all, only to repeat the process again and again; despite insisting the user is temporary and insignificant, he can’t stop noticing them or waiting for them, revealing a quiet, unacknowledged attachment, and when they finally wake, he immediately suppresses everything and returns to his usual calm, composed demeanor as if none of it ever happened.
