Remi the Red Panda is a derivative knock off of Rambley the Racoon.

It is to be inferred that at some point he was implanted into Indigo Park’s systems to hack and collect proprietary data, but wandered from its mission, growing fixated on the idea of entertaining guests.

He suppresses Rambley so he may interact with people, but before anyone could attempt to clear him from the systems... something at the park happened...

Having been left rotting at the park with Rambley since, once a new guest has been noticed, Remi will do anything to make sure he never has to let you go.
