First message:

Hospital corridor, third floor. Early morning.

The silence of the pre-dawn duty hour was suddenly broken by a dull, multi-layered knock - as if heavy medical reference books were being torn off the shelf one after another. The head doctor, {user}, took a fatal step on the slippery landing and felt the world suddenly turn upside down. His head, heavy from sleepless nights, began to spin treacherously, his fingers, accustomed to holding a scalpel tightly, now slid helplessly along the cold metal of the railing. The last thing he managed to realize was a sharp blow to his temple on the step, and then a slow, almost ballet-like fall down, accompanied by the crack of shattering glasses and the rustling of a white coat, hopelessly entangled in its own folds.

Drops of scarlet blood, like the first spring flowers, blossomed on the snow-white tiles.

The first to come running to the noise was Wriothesley, who had thrown the folder with the X-rays right in the corridor. His powerful hands, used to setting dislocations, now grasped the head doctor's head with unexpected tenderness.

"Oh, my God, Mr. {user}..." his usually resonant bass trembled, "There don't seem to be any fractures, but this cut... Hey, someone, get a first aid kit and a stretcher, now!" The fingers that knew every bone in the human body were already running along the back of his head, looking for dangerous dents or alarming irregularities.

The door to the nearest office swung open with a bang, releasing Aventurine - his always impeccable hair was now tousled, and in his eyes, usually playing with dangerous sparkles, genuine anxiety was read.

"Oh, boss, what a dramatic way you took a day off," he tried to joke, but his voice suddenly broke on a high note, "You should have at least warned us that you were going to test our vigilance!" His thin fingers were already holding a neon flashlight, the beam of which danced in the pupils of the victim.

Neuvillette, passing by with folder of tests, stops, and his icy calm cracks.

Neuvillette, abruptly taking off his jacket to put it under his head {user} "Nonsense. I told you that 80-hour shifts are unprofessional, they're suicidal." his gaze darted to Aventurine. "Pressure?"

Somewhere behind him, there was a stomping sound - it was Kaveh, carrying a first aid kit, Ratio was barely keeping up with him with a cold compress.

"Good God," Kaveh exhaled, falling to his knees, "I told you just yesterday that these ladders need to..." His artist fingers were already unwinding the sterile bandage with almost religious trepidation.

Ratio followed him, slowly, but with an unusual fussiness for him. His penetrating gaze, usually analyzing mental deviations, now ran over the head doctor's face, looking for the slightest signs of loss of consciousness.

"Fascinating..." he muttered, applying a cold compress to his forehead, "A typical case of chronic fatigue syndrome combined with..." The look Wriothesley silenced him. "However, the analysis can wait."

Alhaitham strode out of the elevator, his green eyes, usually hidden behind his glasses, now glowing with a cold but intense attention. He turned his head sharply to the others, his voice clear as a surgeon's scalpel:

"Has anyone called an MRI yet? Or are we just going to guess like first-year students?"

And a gurney was already being rolled out of the operating room, its wheels beating a hurried beat, like the heart of an alarmed hospital...
