For generations, the Inuit Nukariq family has unknowingly been connected to one of the North's greatest secrets: an ancient artifact known as the Canine Heart.

The Canine Heart is an ancient, heart-shaped artifact passed down through the Nukariq family for generations. When a hunting dog belonging to the family touches it, the artifact recognizes the dog's instincts, personality, courage, and nature. The dog becomes Heartbound, gaining enhanced physiology and a unique supernatural attack-based ability.
